The Zeck Troy is a travel rod series built for anglers who refuse to leave their tackle at home. Whether you're flying, cycling, hiking or simply keeping a rod in the boot of your car, the Troy range is designed to go wherever you go.

4- or 5-Piece Design for Easy Transport

The Troy series comes in 4- and 5-piece versions, both of which pack down small enough to fit in a rucksack, a carry-on bag or alongside luggage on a plane. Every rod comes with a shoulder bag to keep everything together and protected on the move.

Versatility First

When you're travelling, you rarely want to carry more than one or two rods - so versatility matters. The Troy rods have a fast but not overly stiff action, making them well suited to soft lures, plugs and metal lures, as well as other fishing methods. They are also saltwater-resistant, so one rod covers both fresh and saltwater wherever your travels take you.

Blank, Rings and Reel Seat

All models share the same core components: a sensitive carbon blank, lightweight SIC ring guides and a Fuji TVS /#16 reel seat. The Fuji TVS is one of the most popular reel seats available, combining clean design with solid functionality. Bite detection and lure feedback travel cleanly through the blank, and the cutouts in the reel seat allow you to feel everything directly through your hand. As an extra touch, each rod also features a removable Fuji EHKM-B hook keeper, fixed to the blank with a rubber ring.

The Models

Zeck Troy 190/7

The shortest rod in the Troy range measures 1.90 m and has a casting weight up to 7 g. It's ideal for chasing perch and trout with small lures or finesse rigs. The solid carbon tip gives excellent lure sensitivity and makes the fight genuinely enjoyable. Thanks to its short packed length, the Troy 190/7 can even be taken as hand luggage on flights in the supplied hardcase.

Zeck Troy 200/25

This lightweight 2.00 m rod has a casting weight up to 25 g and a tolerance weight of 30 g. It's a great choice for light fishing for perch and zander as well as comparable species at your destination. The 4-piece construction packs down to just 54 cm, making it small enough to carry as hand luggage on flights.

Zeck Troy 240/50

At 2.40 m with a casting weight of 15-50 g and a tolerance limit of 60 g, this is the all-round option in the range. It covers medium lure fishing for zander and pike and will handle many other species worldwide. It is particularly well suited to working shads slowly along the bottom and fishing plugs.

Zeck Troy 240/80

This heavier-rated version shares the 2.40 m length but steps up to a casting weight of 30-80 g, with a tolerance weight of 90 g. It's especially well suited to pike fishing and also performs well for heavier zander work. You can roll large pike lures or jig shads with it equally well. It holds up well in saltwater too - though as with all rods in the range, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after every saltwater session.

Zeck Troy 240/100

With a casting weight of 35-100 g, this rod has real power and is built for large fish. Its primary role is pike fishing with large lures, but it also handles lighter wels catfish work well. In saltwater it has proven itself, with team anglers landing a variety of species including Black Marlin to 50 kg. As with the 240/80 and all models in the range, always rinse with fresh water after saltwater use.

Zeck Troy 240/150

The workhorse of the series. With a casting weight of 40-150 g, it's the go-to choice for lure fishing for wels catfish in fresh water. It's equally at home in saltwater, where it's built to handle large, hard-fighting sea predators. The guides are double-footed for extra durability, and this is a rod that takes rough treatment - it's made for hard use.

Zeck Troy 270/50

The all-rounder of the Troy range in the longer format. At 2.70 m with a casting weight of 15-50 g, it's well suited to zander and lighter pike fishing as well as bottom fishing and float fishing for both predatory and non-predatory species. The black-framed guides and robust blank are built for longevity, and the rod works equally well in fresh and saltwater. A rod for almost any situation.

Zeck Troy 270/80

A capable all-round rod for pike fishing with lures or with deadbait under a float or on the bottom. At 2.70 m with a casting weight of 30-80 g, it is also well suited to saltwater use.
