The Zeck Baitjigger is a spinning rod available in several lengths and casting weights. Zeck developed this reimagining of a classic rod series in collaboration with Uli Beyer, and the result is a technically refined spinning rod that shines through its performance and versatile range of applications. During testing, the rods were put through their paces on a number of trophy fish and came through with flying colours. Whether you're after big pike on a lake or large zander in the river, the Zeck Baitjigger is a reliable companion.

The Different Sizes and Their Applications

To cover as broad a range of situations as possible, the Zeck Baitjigger comes in several variants. The 2.40 m versions are an excellent choice for boat fishing. They also work well from the bank when you're dealing with plenty of obstacles such as trees or similar obstructions. The 2.70 m variant is ideally suited to bank fishing, though it's equally at home on the boat when you need that extra casting distance. The 3.00 m version is focused squarely on range, helping you get the absolute most out of bank fishing. All 3 sizes are available with 3 different casting weights, ensuring a wide range of lure options is covered.

Light and Sensitive, yet Full of Power

The blank of the Zeck Baitjigger was built using state-of-the-art carbon technology, producing a technically refined blank that is light and sensitive while still delivering plenty of power. That's exactly what you need to handle a pike during the fight or to drive the hook home on the strike into a hard zander mouth.

Counterweights and a Marker for Metre Pike

Each rod is fitted at the rear of the handle with 3 counterweights of 12 g. These were developed by Zeck in collaboration with their supplier team to ensure the best possible grip and are interchangeable. They provide an ideal balance between rod and fixed spool reel. The Zeck Baitjigger also features a marker that lets you quickly and easily identify metre pike by holding the fish alongside the rod.

The fittings on the Zeck Baitjigger are top quality. The Fuji SiC ring set with a Fuji GMKWSG stripper ring ensures your braid runs with silky smoothness and tangle-free. The Fuji VSS reel seat sits perfectly within the high-quality cork handle and gives your fixed spool reel a solid, secure hold. A firmly mounted, robust hook keeper rounds the whole package off.
