Salmo Fatso

A Jerkbait and Plug in One

The Salmo Fatso is one of Salmo's longest-standing lures, and what stays on the market that long has clearly proved its worth many times over. This jerkbait-plug hybrid brings the strengths of both lure types together in a single body and is particularly effective on pike. In the smaller sizes it also works well as an option for perch, asp and even zander. On top of that, it offers a wide range of retrieves: twitching, jerking, straight winding or trolling - all of them produce, so you can adapt to whatever mood the pike are in, or simply fish the way you enjoy most. Another strong point is its excellent casting performance. The compact build and relatively high weight send it flying a long way, making it ideal for covering large areas of water.

Ultra-Sharp Hooks with Added Protection

With its erratic action, the Salmo Fatso provokes aggressive takes, and to make sure every bite converts, it now comes fitted with BKK treble hooks. These are ultra-sharp and extremely robust, making them a natural choice for a pike lure. To keep scratches to pike teeth only, prevent tangles in the hard lure box and preserve hook sharpness, each lure also includes the Salmo Hook Protector. These protective sheaths cover the hooks during storage and transport and are quick to remove when you're ready to fish.
