From Ultralight to All-Round

The Tsurinoya Artemis are fixed spool reels that stand out through their low weight and 9+1 ball bearings. The smaller models are exceptionally light and work brilliantly as ultralight reels paired with an ultralight rod. The larger models are also lightweight but lean more towards all-round fixed spool reels - ideal if you want to cover a range of predators with a single setup. What sets the all-round models apart is their high-speed gear ratio: at 6.2:1, they retrieve line quickly, making them particularly well suited to fast techniques such as twitching and jigging. Whenever you need to take up slack line in a hurry, these reels deliver.

Corrosion Resistance and a Smooth Retrieve

The Tsurinoya Artemis run smoothly thanks to their 9+1 double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings. They are also built to last, with a solid zinc-alloy gearbox and a stainless steel main shaft. That construction translates into long service life and high corrosion resistance, making them suitable for light saltwater use as well. Add in very good casting performance and you have a reel that punches well above its weight.

Artemis 1500

For the course, a very good role. I liked the screw-in crank. The brake also works very well. In this price segment, I haven't seen a better role for UL fishing. If you want to complain, the coil could be a bit flatter.

Artemis 1500

The roll does a great job, is super easy to run and very well made. Fits perfectly with the La Mustiqe rod in 2.25 m. All in all, great value for money and clear purchase recommendation .

Perfect reel for UL fishing. I am very satisfied with it, as well as with the service from HuB. Have it on a Tsurinoya Dragon Versatile rod, harmonizes perfectly.

Artemis 3000SH

The braided string likes to get caught when moving from roll to hanger. No return. Runs smoothly when used for the first time. Endurance testing will show what the role is good for. However, I am not 100% convinced of the role
