Gator Gum

A Big Bait with a Special Rubber Compound and an Extraordinary Action

The Gator Gum is a big bait with a special rubber compound, available in a range of sizes and colour patterns. Swedish experts put considerable work into developing this material, and the result is a movement that combines the action of a swimbait and a shad in one. That enticing combination is simply too much to resist for experienced predators - big zander, pike and wels catfish in particular.

On a Shallow Rig, a Jig Head, or as a Trailer

The key with the Gator Gum is to keep the weight down. Give it room to move freely and the action does the rest - bites follow quickly. The retrieve could hardly be simpler: cast it out and wind it back, and the lure works on its own. It's best fished on a Shallow Stinger Rig, though the smallest size also works well on a classic jig head. As a trailer, it performs excellently on a range of Buck Tails. Whether you cast it or troll it, the Gator Gum is a lure built for serious catches.
