The Small Double Clutch for Perch & Co.

The Daiwa Steez Double Clutch 50SP is the compact version of the highly successful Double Clutch range, born from the Steez programme in Japan. This small, high-quality hard lure is ideally suited for perch fishing, but also catches trout, chub and even zander with great consistency.

Outstanding Running Behaviour

Thanks to its specially designed diving lip, the Daiwa Steez Double Clutch 50SP reaches its maximum running depth of approximately 1.2 m very quickly. Once there, it works with an enticing action, and its suspending characteristic lets you hold it almost on the spot - a setup that produces hard bites. Those bites are then reliably converted thanks to the razor-sharp SaqSas treble hooks.

Exceptional Casting Performance

The Daiwa Steez Double Clutch 50SP is fitted with the G.O.S. System - a tungsten balance weight that travels along a SaqSas-coated rail. During the cast, it shifts to provide extra acceleration and outstanding distance. In the water, it settles back into position for a superb, balanced action. To keep this hard lure running silent, the system is fitted with shock absorbers so the weight moves almost without sound; there is no rattle at all.

How to Fish It

You can work this lure very effectively by twitching, straight retrieve, or a stop-and-go presentation - all three approaches produce results.
