A-TEC Crazee Bass Game Cast

A-Tec, also known as Alpha-Tackle, is the manufacturer behind the Tailwalk rod range and brings that same rod-building expertise to its own label with the A-Tec series of predator rods.

Crazee Bass Game Cast - JDM-Style Baitcasting Rods

The Crazee Bass Game Cast from A-TEC Japan is the second, revised generation of the Crazee Bass baitcasting rod range, incorporating a number of improvements over the first series. The Crazee Bass Game baitcasting rod range is aimed squarely at predator anglers looking for a crisp JDM-style casting rod at a very accessible price point. Because A-Tec also manufactures the Tailwalk rods, the company brings considerable rod-building know-how to this series. The Crazee Bass Game Cast sits as the more affordable counterpart to the Tailwalk range. The finish looks premium and the overall impression is one of quality - the carbon-look blank is complemented by anodised metal components, and the build quality throughout is spotless. Fuji O-rings allow unrestricted use of modern braid, and the Fuji trigger reel seat holds any compatible baitcaster securely in place. The blank recovery and sensitivity these rods offer at this price point are frankly exceptional.

A-TEC Crazee Bass Game C662ML: This 198 cm two-piece baitcasting rod handles all lure types in the 3.5-14 g casting weight range with ease. Depending on the lure, the C662ML suits jigs from 3.5-10 g with 2.5-3.5" soft lures, finesse rigs with 3.5-10 g bullets or Jika-Weights plus 2.5" or 3" trailers, drop shot weights up to 14 g, shallow-running crankbaits up to approximately 50 mm, and small minnows and twitchbaits up to 70 mm in length weighing 7-10 g.

A-TEC Crazee Bass Game C6102M: The C6102M is a 208 cm all-rounder for anyone who needs a bit more casting distance and fishes predominantly with lures and rigs up to 20 g total weight. When drop shotting, you can take full advantage of the 21 g rating, provided you keep the lures reasonably compact.

A-TEC Crazee Bass Game C702MH: The C702MH marks the transition towards a zander rod and handles heavier jig heads well. Despite that, it retains strong all-round qualities and works across a variety of lure types.
