Abu Garcia Beast X2 (Spinning)

Top Spinning Rods for Dedicated Pike Anglers

The Abu Garcia Beast X2 (Spinning) range offers a wide selection of spinning rods designed for the dedicated pike angler. These are strong, reliable rods built for full days on the water with large lures, targeting big pike. That performance is the result of an extensive testing phase carried out by several European professional pike anglers until the rods were fully optimised.

Lighter With Improved Action

The Abu Garcia Beast X2 (Spinning) features a Fast Taper 30T Carbon blank and lightweight Seaguide Stainless Steel XOG Anti-Tangle rings. Compared to its predecessors, the blank delivers improved action and greater power. At the same time, the blank and rings combine to make these rods over 15% lighter than their predecessors - ideal for long sessions and sustained enjoyment on the bank.

Ergonomic Design and Secure Lure Retention

The Abu Garcia Beast X2 (Spinning) is fitted with a split grip in high-density EVA. Together with the reel seat, this grip provides excellent ergonomics, sitting comfortably in the hand and looking the part too. The pre-fitted hook keeper lets you secure your lure safely, protecting the rod rings from unnecessary wear when nothing is clipped in.

All-Round Pike Rod

The Abu Garcia Beast X2 (Spinning) rods are explicitly designed for pike fishing and optimised for all-round use. You can fish virtually any pike lure with them, though they feel most at home with lures retrieved on a steady wind: swimbaits, spinnerbaits, large plugs and soft lures.
