Knot 2 Kinky 1x1 - an Absolute UDSM Wire
The wire comes in a 4.50 m length - approximately 15 ft - giving you enough material to tie several leaders from a single spool. Across the nickel-titanium range, diameters run from 0.203 mm to 0.432 mm, yet these leaders deliver breaking strains between 2.7 kg and 20.4 kg. Those are exceptional figures for wire at this diameter.

The material can be knotted (e.g. with a clinch knot). This makes it very easy and flexible to make leaders, but also make finesse rigs pike-proof. I'll be ordering it again.

Top product Always had the 1x7, but it was too soft for me in some situations. The 1x1 is super stiff, not prone to kinks and can be knotted with a simple clinch knot with 2-3 windings. Finally, add a drop of UV glue and off you go!

Very stiff... Smooth, really not prone to kinks, but very stiff. If you want to spend a bit more on bite resistance, Stroft is the better choice. Although more expensive, it doesn't get any smoother and better to knot.

Defective. With a load capacity of 5.4 kg, it is simply much too stiff and certainly not knotted. Nice leader for squeeze pods but the load capacity is simply not enough for pike fishing. Unfortunately too expensive, it's better and cheaper.
