With the DEX Stunna Plus 2, Berkley has extended its DEX Stunna range with an extra deep-running model. This twitchbait reaches a running depth of 3 to 3.5 m - ideal when predators have dropped into deeper water and the shallows are devoid of life.

Subtle Finesse or Hard and Aggressive

The Berkley DEX Stunna Plus 2 is a versatile twitchbait that works both twitched and jerked. Twitch it gently from the wrist and it displays a subtle, restrained action, breaking only slightly to the side. Combine that with a raised rod tip and you can run it surprisingly shallow - handy for working the bait over a flat nearshore area at the end of the retrieve. Jerk it hard from the arm, however, and it darts aggressively, executing full 180-degree turns with the flank flashing sharply as it rolls.

Slow Sink Rate and Lead-Free Construction

The Berkley DEX Stunna Plus 2 is a sinking twitchbait, yet its sink rate is very slow at 30 cm in 8 seconds - slow enough to make genuine pauses a productive part of your retrieve. Unlike many other twitchbaits, that sinking behaviour during a pause can be the trigger that convinces a hesitant predator to commit. Internally, dual brass weights combine with a Tungsten Weight Transfer System; the latter primarily delivers extra acceleration on the cast and excellent casting performance, letting you reach fish holding well out and cover a lot of water efficiently.
