Berkley PowerBait Action Waxies

Waxworm Imitation for Ice Fishing and Drop Shot

The Berkley PowerBait Action Waxies are tiny at just 2 cm, but there is a great deal packed into that small body. This waxworm imitation features a central notch that, combined with the extra-soft rubber compound, gives it exceptional mobility. You can also influence how much action the lure produces simply by adjusting the way you rig it: mounted with the notch facing upwards, it delivers more intense movement than when the notch faces down - a handy way to match the mood of the fish on any given day. If 2 cm is still too large and fish are being particularly finicky, you can cut the lure in half and present an even smaller offering. This compact soft plastic really comes into its own for ice fishing or on a drop shot rig. Although it is designed for vertical presentation, there are bound to be more uses to explore - trout fishing on lakes in particular opens up a range of further possibilities.

Loaded with the Legendary PowerBait Attractant

As the name suggests, the Berkley PowerBait Action Waxies are infused with the legendary PowerBait attractant. This formula is the result of more than 30 years of research, is continuously refined and improved, and its effectiveness has been confirmed in numerous studies. The science shows that fish not only attack this lure faster, but also hold onto it up to 18 times longer. That gives you more time to strike, which translates directly into a significantly higher hook-up rate and, ultimately, more fish to your net.
