The Baitcasting Rod Built Without Compromise

Following the success of the Solution Contact Spinning, demand for a baitcasting version of Big L – Fishing Channel's distinctive black-and-white rod came quickly. After extensive prototyping and repeated refinement of individual components, the Solution Contact Cast is the result: a thoroughly developed baitcasting rod available in six models.

The Solution Contact Cast at a Glance

2.10 m (two-piece) with a casting weight of 7-28 g and a rod weight of 137 g
2.40 m (two-piece) with a casting weight of 10-45 g and a rod weight of 144 g
2.60 m (two-piece) with a casting weight of 30-110 g and a rod weight of 180 g
2.65 m (two-piece) with a casting weight of 20-70 g and a rod weight of 160 g
2.30 m (two-piece) with a casting weight of 25-80 g and a rod weight of 158 g. The compact powerhouse of the range, built for fishing heavy soft lures or hard lures from a boat.
1.95 m (one-piece) with a casting weight of 15-55 g and a rod weight of 130 g. A short, punchy rod with serious power, designed for pelagic fishing or vertical jigging.

As with the spinning version of the Solution, only high-quality components feature throughout. The extremely fast and lightweight blank is paired with Fuji Alconite guides and a split-grip handle combining Duplon and finest cork.

The Components of the Solution Contact Cast 240 in Detail

The Handle

The Solution Contact Cast features a high-quality two-component handle with contact surfaces of finest cork and Duplon.

The Blank

As on the spinning variant, the blank is constructed from high-modulus Woven Carbon - extremely light and fast (total rod weight: 144 g). A specialist wrapping technique allows for the combination of a strong backbone and a sensitive tip.

The Guides

The baitcasting Solution is fitted with first-class Fuji Alconite guides for precise lure control and optimal casting performance. The tip-section guides feature glow-in-the-dark wrappings, which aid bite detection in low-light conditions.

Solution Contact Cast by Big L 260 cm / 30-110 g

Like all Solution rods, whether contact or statement, the rod feels great in the hand, it impresses with every bite thanks to its sensitive rod tip.

Solution Contact Cast by Big L 260 cm / 30-110 g

Dream rod! I have the 230 cm long rod with a casting weight of max. 80 grams. The rod immediately became my absolute favorite. It charges very well and throws the baits of 20-80 grams without any problems. As a roll, I use the Shimano Cardiff with a 20-series Shimano Kairiki 4 series.

Solution Contact Cast by Big L 260 cm / 30-110 g

Solution Contact I bought Solution Contact for my Shimano Curado DC and I'm more than satisfied! With the rod, you can actually guide any bait perfectly. A rod for everything in my opinion

Solution Contact Cast by Big L 260 cm / 30-110 g

Great for big baits, it also goes a little more in weight, the casting weight is not good at the bottom would rate it between 60-150g

Solution Contact Cast by Big L 195 cm / 15-55 g

Here you can get a high-quality rod at a good price with which you can easily master a large number of different pike baits.
