Baitcasting Rod Series Designed for Hard Lures and Vibration Lures

The Bullseye Liquëo Cast is a baitcasting rod series built for use with baitcasters, with a very specific focus: after nearly three years of development, Bullseye designed these rods around hard lures and vibration lures. They excel with twitchbaits from 8 to 13 cm, medium crankbaits, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. The motto 'Ferus et Mollis' - Latin for 'wild and gentle' - runs through every detail of these rods. On one hand, they deliver outstanding feedback during aggressive twitchbait and jerkbait presentations, letting you react to every contact instantly. On the other, their vibration-absorbing action comes into its own when fishing crankbaits and other vibration lures, and the same cushioning quality during the fight reduces hook pulls significantly, keeping even powerful, hard-fighting fish under control right through to the net.

4 Variants to Choose From

The Bullseye Liquëo Cast comes in 4 variants: 2 rod lengths, each available in 2 different casting weight ranges - 5-21 g and 7-35 g. At 1.98 m, the shorter variant is an excellent choice for fishing from a float tube or kayak, as well as from a boat. The slightly longer 2.13 m variant has its strengths when fishing hard lures from the bank, but works just as well from a boat, kayak or float tube. The choice between the two lengths also comes down to personal preference - whether you favour a rod under 2 m or want that extra 15 cm for added casting distance.

The Blank and Components

The Bullseye Liquëo Cast rods feature extremely lightweight blanks with a med-fast action. This makes them highly versatile blanks for hard lures - they cast beautifully, lure presentation is a pleasure, and you maintain a genuine sense of control right through to the final stages of the fight. These blanks deliver outstanding feedback and bite detection, turning the strike into a natural reflex. For the guide setup, Bullseye chose Fuji KS SS Alconite guides, positioned along the blank for optimum load distribution and to complement its casting performance. The handle is a split grip with a natural cork foregrip and an EVA rear section, into which the Fuji ECSM 16 reel seat is neatly integrated - combining ergonomics and feedback to great effect.
