Daiwa Aird X (Casting)

Baitcasting Rods Built for Precision and Control

The Daiwa Aird X (Casting) are baitcasting rods designed to pair perfectly with the Aird baitcaster range. The lineup spans from ultralight finesse fishing through to medium-weight pike fishing, with each rod precisely matched to its casting weight - resulting in accurate, controlled lure presentation.

From Finesse Perch Fishing to Medium-Heavy Pike Work

The Daiwa Aird X (Casting) range currently comprises 5 models. The lightest option is built for finesse fishing and features a Solid Tip for precise work with small lures, backed by a firm, responsive blank. Above that sit two models rated ML and M respectively, which are well suited to fishing crankbaits, twitchbaits, chatterbaits, and medium-sized soft plastics. The two heavier models serve as pike and zander rods, handling medium-sized soft lures and plugs with ease.

Quality Components at an Accessible Price

The Daiwa Aird X (Casting) rods are built around an HMC+ carbon blank with a significantly reduced resin content, making them light, fast, and well balanced. The guides are Seaguide Titanium Oxide rings, compatible with both mono and braid. The Brading-X handle is notably strong and robust, finished in an EVA split grip design that sits comfortably in the hand and looks the part. Across the board, the Aird X (Casting) delivers quality components at a competitive price point.
