The Daiwa Prorex AGS Cast, part of the Daiwa predator range, is built for anglers who demand the very best. The 32 g model is well suited to zander fishing and pelagic casting with lighter, smaller lures in shallow water, and features a carbon-fibre handle that transmits vibrations directly to your forearm. The 80 g and 120 g models are designed specifically for pike fishing with large XL soft lures on shallow rigs and jig heads, and come with a longer handle for optimum control. The tip loads up well during the cast, and the stiff backbone ensures a high strike-to-catch ratio.

Daiwa has built the Prorex AGS Cast around an SVF Nanoplus blank, further refined with an X45 carbon construction. Applied to the blank surface, this technology makes the rod extremely resistant to torsion and improves compression, keeping it stable under heavy load - a real advantage when playing large predators. Alongside the performance gains, this construction also gives the rod a distinctive carbon finish that sets it apart visually.
