Daiwa Tournament AGS Spin

Daiwa's predator tackle has earned its reputation among anglers worldwide over many decades, and the Tournament AGS Spin sits right at the top of that range.

Tournament Spinning for Serious Predator Anglers

The Daiwa Tournament AGS Spin spinning rods are built around a crisp, fast action that remains versatile rather than tip-heavy. These are true high-end rods, designed specifically for fishing with moving baits. The blank is sensitive yet universally responsive, letting you work your lures with precision while transmitting every take with absolute clarity. Much of this is down to the SVF carbon blank with X45 technology - ultra-high-modulus blanks with a reduced resin content that keeps weight to a minimum and raises feedback to an exceptional level. The Daiwa Air Sensor reel seat, also constructed from carbon fibre, adds further sensitivity and sits superbly in the hand. The featherlight AGS carbon guides with SiC inserts - a Daiwa in-house development - contribute to a well-balanced feel and outstanding casting performance. The V-Joint spigot connection produces an exceptionally smooth bend throughout the blank and keeps the sections locked together firmly. Visually, the Tournament AGS is striking: red accents alongside extensive carbon components and the AGS guides give it a thoroughly premium look - the kind of rod that feels like a highly tuned sports car among predator rods.
