Daiwa Tournament Current Master 93F-DR

A Hard Lure Built for Mid-Water Predators

The Daiwa Tournament Current Master 93F-DR is a hard lure designed specifically to work the mid-water column at depths of 2.00 - 3.00 m, targeting zander, perch and asp with precision. The patented Mag Lock Silent Weight Oscillation System shifts the centre of gravity during the cast, delivering exceptional casting distances. Its body shape and specialist diving lip keep the lure flying true and allow it to be presented effectively even in strong currents.

The Current Master's strongly rolling action and pronounced flank movement draw strikes from predators that follow it in. Where this lure really shines is in twitching with a stop-and-go retrieve - during the pauses it rises slowly back through the water, then breaks away erratically on every twitch of the rod. Few predators can resist that combination for long.

How to Fish It

Work the Current Master on a stop-and-go retrieve, twitching the rod to trigger that unpredictable breakaway action between pauses. The slow, rising movement during each pause is a particular trigger, especially for zander and perch holding in the mid-water column.
