Fox Rage Scent Shad (1 Piece)

Fox Rage Scent Shad - Soft Lure with Fish Snax Attractant

The Fox Rage Scent Shad brings back the legendary Fish Snax attractant that had already proven its worth on other well-known lures. The attractant keeps perch and zander holding the lure longer, giving you more time to strike. Developed specifically for perch and zander - two species that respond particularly well to scent and suit finesse techniques - the Scent Shad has slots along the belly and back so you can fish it on an offset hook with ease. It works well on Carolina, Cheburashka, drop shot and free rigs, and excels on a jig head just as you'd expect from a proper shad - whether you're working it slow or jigging it hard, the bites come.

Fine Details for Maximum Effect

The Fox Rage Scent Shad is packed with small features that add up to a highly effective soft lure for perch and zander. The soft, flexible yet robust rubber compound drives the action and contributes to an exceptionally good hook-up rate. When a fish inhales the lure, the body folds together cleanly, improving your chances of a solid hook-up. The taper through the middle of the body makes the shad even more supple, and also frees up the rear section to move with real independence. The main driver of the action is the Rage Shield paddle tail, which starts working at the very slowest retrieve speeds. On the belly, small raised nubs create additional turbulence that fish can read through their lateral line - and they double up as an ideal surface for attractant paste, holding it firmly and letting it work over a longer period. Together, these details make the Fox Rage Scent Shad a very worthwhile addition to the Fox Rage soft plastic range, and one that perch and zander anglers should take note of.
