Fox Rage Slick Fast Super Soft 21 cm

The Slick Shad - Bigger and Faster

The Fox Rage Slick Fast Super Soft 21 cm is the largest of the 3 shads in the Slick Softbaits family. Like its smaller siblings, it features a very slim body with a tapered tail and a small paddle tail. The tail section takes its cue from the legendary Tiddler Fast - a proven zander lure - while the rest of the body follows the profile of a large Slick Shad. The result is a highly responsive soft plastic whose tail starts working seductively at the slightest pull or minimal rod animation, while offering very little water resistance. Fitted with a large, heavy head, it drops to depth quickly and is excellent for pelagic fishing after big open-water predators. With its subtle action, it also makes a great complement to the Fox Rage Slick Finesse when predators are looking for a little more turbulence along the lateral line.

Soft Enough to Fold, Tough Enough for Multiple Fish

The Fox Rage Slick Fast Super Soft 21 cm is the right mouthful to trigger interest and aggression from often specimen zander and pike, and hard takes come with the territory. The rubber compound is pleasantly soft yet durable, so the lure stays fishable even after several fish. Because it is so soft, fish can fold it easily on the take, which improves hook-up rates significantly. The best way to present this lure is on a heavy screw-in weight combined with a stinger or treble hook - that is where it shows its most enticing action and the Fox Rage Slick Fast Super Soft 21 cm reaches its full potential.
