Fox Rage Zander Pro Shad 7.5 cm

The Zander Pro Shad from Fox Rage is an absolute classic trusted by anglers around the world. Fox International built the Fox Rage brand into one of the industry's leading names on the back of consistently high-quality predator lures - starting out as a small company in Essex and earning a reputation that has held firm for decades.

The Zander Pro Shad - A Classic

Most anglers know the Zander Pro Shad, and plenty have caught fish on it. Its potential was obvious even during testing: the team anglers reported strong catches from the very first prototypes, with both the frequency and size of fish exceeding anything seen before.

What Makes It Work

At 7.5 cm - roughly 3" - and 3.0 g, this shad is sized just right as a compact, snack-sized offering. The paddle tail is angled at 115 degrees, generating maximum vibration that few soft lures of comparable size can match. The soft yet durable rubber compound gives the Zander Pro Shad (across all sizes) a highly natural swimming action.

How to Fish It

Rigged on a light jig head with a hook size of around 1/0 (depending on the manufacturer), the 7.5 cm Zander Pro Shad dances through harbour basins and alongside lily pad fields like a small fry.

It also works very well for drop shotting. Fished on a drop shot rig, subtle rod movements are all you need to bring it to life - an approach that is particularly effective on wary or sluggish fish.

Colours for Every Situation

Fox Rage offers the Zander Pro Shad in a wide range of colour patterns to cover any conditions. Natural patterns such as Electric Flash and Glitter Perch are just as effective for perch fishing as high-visibility options like Hot Olive and Lemon Tiger.
