Gunki Gamera Slim 110 SP

The Gamera Slim 110 SP for Night Zander Sessions

Anyone targeting zander after dark will want a Gunki Gamera Slim 110 SP in the lure box. This slender, elongated plug is the right size for zander and delivers a wobble-and-roll action that comes into its own on a straight, steady retrieve. That lively, tight movement is hard for zander to resist. It runs at a depth of 0.5 to 1.0 m, which makes it well suited to working along riprap and stonework.

Not Just for Zander

The Gunki Gamera Slim 110 SP isn't a one-species bait. During the day it's equally reliable for daytime zander, perch, and pike, and it works best when fished as a twitchbait. In still water, it displays a distinctive behaviour known as roll-twitch: in the pause, the Gamera Slim 110 SP sits with its head angled slightly downward, and a gentle, controlled twitch triggers a rolling motion while it barely moves from the spot. This lets you work tight, confined spots thoroughly and keep the hard lure in the zone for longer - gaps in weed beds, narrow pockets, and other hotspots all suit this approach perfectly.
