Hearty Rise has built a strong reputation for outstanding quality, and the Valley Hunter Casting series is a fine example of what the brand delivers.

Fast Action and Striking Looks

The Hearty Rise Valley Hunter series makes an impression from the first cast. The blank comes in a classic black finish with stylish details, and the split grip handle in EVA features metal accents in gold and dark grey - a combination that catches the eye straight away. Look closer and you'll notice the asymmetric two-piece split, a design trend originating in Japan that may seem unusual at first but quickly proves its worth in the hand. It contributes directly to the series' very fast action, and even a few dry swings are enough to show you that the stated casting weight is not the hard ceiling. These rods have reserves - both in casting and when you're playing a serious fish.

More Power with NET-V III Technology

The NET V-III rod blank technology from Hearty Rise is built around three carbon fibre layers bonded together at different angles. The outer layer is wound diagonally, the inner layer is wound in the mirror-image direction so that the two sit essentially at right angles to each other, and the middle layer is woven vertically between them. The result is a blank with maximum stiffness and resistance. You'll feel the difference as soon as you pick the rod up.

Fuji Components

Hearty Rise has fitted the Valley Hunter series with Fuji components throughout. The rings are Fuji SIC guides, combining durability, low weight and minimal noise. The Fuji reel seat complements the EVA grip and sits comfortably in the hand.

Three Baitcasting Rod Models

The Valley Hunter Casting series is available in three baitcasting rod versions:

672L
With a casting weight of 2 - 10 g, the Valley Hunter 672L is the lightest baitcasting rod in the series. It is particularly well suited to ultralight fishing for perch and performs especially well with small hard lures. Light jig heads combined with small shads are equally at home on this rod.

702MH
The Valley Hunter 702MH may not carry a heavy casting weight, but it handles light lure fishing for zander and pike with ease. It comes into its own on smaller waters with a good head of average-sized fish, offering real sport on light tackle for anyone who wants to land hard-fighting predators without going heavy on the gear.

611H
Developed by pro staff from the Netherlands, the Valley Hunter 611H Pelagic is built specifically for pelagic zander fishing. It also has enough in reserve to handle large pike without any difficulty.
