The Bigbait Among Crankbaits

At 14.5 cm and 120 g, the Hybrida Wobbler K-5 Crankbait is the largest of the Hybrida crankbaits - a hard lure built for anglers with big pike or wels catfish in mind. Despite its size, it is about as straightforward to fish as a crankbait can be. Cast it out, wind it back - that is genuinely all it takes to give it an attractive action. That simplicity also makes it an excellent choice for trolling. It runs at depths of 1.0 - 2.5 m, so you can work it along drop-offs at the bank or track the edges of weed beds until that take comes and the rod bends hard. Given its weight, we recommend pairing it with a robust baitcaster - this type of reel handles the stresses of casting heavy lures and retrieving hard-pulling crankbaits far better over time.
