The Illex Blade Blaster is a chatterbait available in various weights and colour patterns. Developed by Illex team angler Marc Ptacovsky and product manager Thomas Vogels, it combines the head shape of the Jungle Blaster Jig with a blade that generates strong, pulsing pressure. That combination grabs the attention of pike, perch, zander and more, while the head shape lets the Blade Blaster glide over obstacles and weed with ease - making it an excellent choice for snag-heavy, structure-rich waters where you want to pull predators out of cover. A full, voluminous silicone skirt completes the package: driven by the blade's vibration, it pulses and breathes in rhythm on every retrieve. The skirt is bound with stainless steel thread to stand up to the punishment of pike teeth over the long term.

Room for an Extra Spinner Blade or Drop Weight

The Illex Blade Blaster is entirely lead-free and features an additional eye at the bottom of the jig head. You can use that eye to add a spinner blade for even more action in the water, or clip on a drop weight to adjust the running depth when predators are holding deeper. Both variants come fitted with a 3/0 hook, which is well suited to trailers between 8 and 10 cm. What soft plastics you pair it with is entirely up to you - shads, pin tails, craws, creature baits - there is plenty of room to experiment.
