The Illex Sucker Punch 190 is a soft swimbait shad developed with inspiration from the Nitro Shad. Designed specifically for pike fishing, this large lure is a convincing imitation of a baitfish. Realistic shaping with fins and striking colour schemes combine with real bulk - exactly the kind of mouthful that big pike find hard to ignore. The large tail fin produces a rolling action even at slow retrieve speeds, and even lethargic pike struggle to resist it. Lead-Free, but Fully Armed

The Illex Sucker Punch 190 is a soft swimbait with a soft body built around a hard inner core. The internal weighting contains no lead, which earns it its 'lead-free' designation. For the hooks, Illex have chosen a large, exceptionally strong size 6/0 BN single hook and a BKK belly treble hook in size 2/0. Both are top-quality hooks well suited to sizeable pike. The belly treble is mounted on a swivel via a split ring, allowing it to rotate freely - this reduces the number of lost fish and at the same time protects the soft body material.

3 Variants for Different Depths

The Illex Sucker Punch 190 is available in 3 variants: SR, MR and DR. SR stands for Shallow Runner and is the shallow-running option. With a running depth of 0.2 - 0.8 m, it is ideal for shallow areas and fishing above weed beds. MR is the Medium Runner, reaching depths of 1.0 to 2.5 m and running considerably deeper. This makes it an excellent choice when you want to fish in front of weed beds, along marginal drop-offs, or generally in the zone just beyond the shallows. The DR is the Deep Runner, with a running depth of over 3.0 m. When pike are holding deep, this is the variant to reach them in the deeper parts of the water. All 3 variants cover different depth zones and deliver exceptional effectiveness on pike, whether you are fishing in Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia or even North America.
