The Jackall Magnum Deraball is the XL version of the Deraball. Illex team anglers Gael Even and Thomas Vogels persuaded Jackall to produce this larger variant - and it was a good call. The result is a top lure for pike, large largemouth bass and even wels catfish. It carries all the qualities of the original Deraball, just scaled up across the board: 20% more size and volume give the Magnum Deraball a correspondingly larger silhouette, stronger vibration and greater water displacement. That translates directly into more impact on predators - it is even more visible and draws attention fast.

Outstanding Casting and a Dead-Simple Retrieve

The Jackall Magnum Deraball is a soft swimbait that combines the characteristics of a soft plastic and a crankbait. Its rounded shape and high-density material pair compactness with weight, giving it outstanding casting properties - not just in terms of distance and accuracy, but also for specialist casting techniques. This lure is excellent for skipping beneath overhanging trees and under jetties, exactly where wary, experienced predators tend to hold up. The retrieve itself is refreshingly straightforward: simply wind it in. The lure's intense wobbling action takes care of everything else needed to trigger a bite.

Shallow by Default, Deep with Added Weight

At 10.2 cm and a substantial 51 g, the Jackall Magnum Deraball is primarily a shallow-water lure. Its standard running depth of 0.1-1 m makes it well suited to shallow areas such as weed beds, margins, sunken trees and similar features. If you want to fish deeper, there is a straightforward solution: thread a tungsten bullet weight onto the leader and the lure will dive down. This makes it effective at triggering pelagic predators in open water.

Fewer Lost Fish

Hooking a big predator is satisfying - landing it even more so. To help make that happen, the Jackall Magnum Deraball features a Line Thru System combined with a high-quality, extra-reinforced treble hook mounted on a swivel. The swivel allows 360° rotation, and thanks to the Line Thru System, the lure can slide up the leader during the fight, eliminating the lever effect. To prevent this from happening unintentionally during the cast or retrieve, the treble is held in the line channel by 2 attached antennae. The result is a lure that is always ready to hook the next big fish and keep it on through the fight.
