Keitech soft plastics have earned a massive following among predator anglers worldwide - and for good reason. Their Easy Shiner range is among the most consistent producers you'll find anywhere.
The Keitech Easy Shiner 3" - One of the Most Popular Lures in the World
At 7.2 cm, the Keitech Easy Shiner 3" delivers everything that makes this range so effective. The combination of a rolling flank action, a wildly thumping paddle tail, and an enormous variety of proven colour patterns alone is enough to trigger strikes from all manner of predators. On top of that, the distinctive squid scent gives it an extra edge that fish find hard to resist. A big part of this effectiveness comes down to how it's made: Keitech's two-colour injection moulding process combines plastic compounds with different salt contents in the top and bottom halves of the body. Beyond the visual effect, this stabilises the lure's tracking - the centre of gravity sits in the belly, giving it a particularly smooth, consistent run.
A Versatile Soft Lure for Countless Rigs
The Keitech Easy Shiner works across a wide range of set-ups. The 3-inch version fishes well on light jig heads as well as virtually any rig you care to use. The belly slot means it rigs up cleanly on an offset hook, adding another level of versatility. It's primarily an essential lure for perch, but it regularly produces zander as a bonus and delivers strong results on trout as well. This size is particularly effective in summer when fry are still small and predators are keyed in on them.

Easy Shiner 3" | 7,2 cm Barsch (BA-Edition)
The bait tail starts very well and the bait plays very nicely overall with different guides and different jig heads. It reliably catches perch in various layers of water, both small and larger. I haven't caught walleye and pike yet — I'll wait until autumn to test how the more active predators take the bait.
Easy Shiner 3" | 7,2 cm Natural Craw
Top..! Great running behavior, super catchy on perch. However, quite soft rubber compound, so that the bait is affected quite quickly at the appropriate bite frequency... But you are happy to accept that

The color combination appeals to perches even in very cloudy water. But the bait (like all Easy Shiners) is also great in clear water.
