Keitech Hyper Spider 3.2" (8 cm)

Claws, Fringe & Plenty of Scent

The Keitech Hyper Spider 3.2" / 8 cm is a creature bait developed on the basis of the Little Spider. One end of the body is fitted with a 16-arm skirt that is richly textured and substantially increases the overall bulk of the bait. All those individual arms move independently, generating extra attraction and draw. The rest of the body is reminiscent of a craw fitted with the arms of the Crazy Flapper - and those arms are legendary for good reason. The Keitech Crazy Flapper ranks among the most popular creature baits for perch, and its claws are now carried over to the Keitech Hyper Spider, where they create serious underwater movement. They start working on the drop and react just as quickly to twitches and retrieves. That means strong pressure waves that fish pick up through their lateral line long before they ever see the bait. Once they close in, the intense squid attractant takes over. Visual appeal, lateral-line stimulation and scent combined is typically too much for perch, zander and largemouth bass to resist, making a bite almost inevitable.

How to Fish It

The Hyper Spider works best on a jig head, a skirted jig, or finesse rigs such as a free rig, Jika rig or Carolina rig.
