Keitech Shad Impact 3" (7.5 cm)

Keitech has a wide range of highly effective soft plastics in its lineup, and the Shad Impact is one of the most versatile among them.

Pintail Shad for Soft Jerking Perch

At 7.5 cm, the Keitech Shad Impact 3" is an ideal perch lure. It is the right size to attract perch throughout the year, and its extreme versatility makes it a soft lure no perch angler should be without. In summer, when perch feed aggressively in very shallow water, it truly comes into its own as a soft jerk lure. Rigged on an offset hook and twitched through the water, this pintail shad produces an exceptionally enticing darting action - shooting through the water in a zigzag pattern and sinking belly-first on the pause. A big part of what makes it work is Keitech's unique 2-tone injection process, which moulds the body from 2 different rubber compounds - one for the top, one for the bottom. This not only creates attractive two-tone colour patterns, but also means the upper part of the body is unsalted while the lower half carries a high salt content. The result is a distinctive stability that keeps the lure tracking straight and true - irresistible for perch. To make rigging on an offset hook straightforward, the lure features recesses on both the belly and the back.

Also for Finesse Rigs, Jig Head & Trailer Use

The Keitech Shad Impact 3" is far from a one-trick pony. It is extraordinarily versatile and fishes well on drop shot and Carolina rigs, delivers strong results on a jig head, and works as an excellent trailer for small chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. Its asymmetric body design produces a rolling action that is hard for perch - and other predators - to ignore, and this comes through particularly well on a jig head. On top of that, the Shad Impact carries Keitech's characteristic squid attractant, present in good measure throughout the lure - a scent that predators respond to and that noticeably improves your chances of a take.
