The LMAB Drunk Dancer 18 cm is the mid-size version of the highly effective twin-tail curly tail grub from LMAB. Different Methods at a Glance

1. Jig Head Rig: The most straightforward way to rig the Drunk Dancer is on a classic jig head. The recess at the head seats it perfectly on a round jig head in size #7/0. At heavier weights, you can jig it hard along the bottom to target zander and deep-lying pike. Drop down to a lighter jig head between 3 and 10 g and you can work it slowly through shallow water - over weed or across shallow channels. Mid-water jigging above weed beds is equally effective: let the lure sink briefly, then lift it back up with a few turns of the reel handle.

2. Shallow Rig: As an alternative to a light jig head, the Drunk Dancer also works very well on a shallow rig. You can fish it completely weightless or add small screw-in weights depending on how deep and how slowly you want to present it. When you need the lure moving at its absolute slowest, this rig is the standout choice - the Drunk Dancer develops its seductive action even at the lightest retrieve pace.

3. Stinger Rig: If you want to fish deeper but prefer to avoid a conventional jig head, a stinger rig is the answer. Working on a similar principle to the shallow rig, it adds a weight at the head to get the Drunk Dancer down to depth. It's ideal for working deep drop-offs or reaching fish hugging the bottom - and it also produces well for trolling.
