LMAB Drunk Twister 16 cm

The Curly Tail Grub with a Drunk Bait Head

The LMAB Drunk Twister 16 cm is the larger version of this distinctive curly tail grub. LMAB have taken a classic that anglers have long underestimated and given it the Drunk Bait Design. Curly tail grubs arrived in Europe in the early nineties and have occupied a niche ever since - which is no bad thing, as lures used less frequently tend to be less familiar to fish, and that unfamiliarity often triggers a reaction. The LMAB Drunk Twister doesn't just rely on its lively curly tail, which gets to work even at the slowest retrieve thanks to its pronounced profile. As the name suggests, it also features the characteristic concave head in the Drunk Bait style, which generates considerable water displacement alongside the turbulence from the tail - something fish pick up on immediately.

Tough, Phthalate-Free Rubber with Added Attractant

Like the other LMAB soft plastics, the Drunk Twister 16 cm is built from a soft, durable, phthalate-free rubber compound that allows delicate lure action whilst standing up to the attacks of pike. A seafood attractant is worked into the material, encouraging predators to hold onto the lure longer and giving you more time to set the hook. You can fish the LMAB Drunk Twister 16 cm on a jig head, but it is particularly effective on a Shallow Rig or as a trailer on the Miuras Mouse Mini, worked slowly along weed beds, bankside vegetation, and other shallow structures.
