From Light to Extra-Heavy - the Full Range Is Covered
Building on the success of the lighter LMAB La Moustique rods, the series has been expanded with a range of baitcasting rods that now covers everything from light to extra-heavy lure fishing, significantly broadening the target species range. High-grade materials and robust components keep the weight low without compromising on performance.
Top Blank with Purpose-Matched Handle Design
Each LMAB La Moustique Casting rod is built around a two-piece, high-modulus carbon blank that also looks the part in the modern La Moustique style. The action is tailored to each model, ranging from fast tip action through to a powerful semi-parabolic action for large, heavy lures. Stainless steel guides with ceramic inserts reduce friction during the cast and work particularly well with braid. Careful attention has been paid to the handle design of each rod: reinforced reel seats are matched to the respective casting weight, and the EVA back handle is sized to suit each model - the heavier the casting weight, the longer the back handle, supporting optimal balance.

La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
I bought the La Moustique Casting 198 cm/2-10 g in a bundle together with the Dark Wolf. I am currently very impressed by the rod. It is very light, which means that longer fishing is no problem. The rod loads up great when you throw the bait, which gives you a little casting distance if necessary. With the rod, I was able to throw even my lightest baits to date (spoons of 2.5g) well, but I still need some practice:) There is nothing wrong with the rod in the drill. Was able to cut the rod with a nice 60s barbel in the river. I was able to land the fish safely! The workmanship of the rod is impeccable for the price. The only “shortcoming” I have is a ring that is very slightly twisted, but this is only a cosmetic defect and does not affect casting distance, bait guidance, drill or anything else. TL:DR - I can only recommend the rod (& combo) to get started with BFS fishing!
La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
Good value for money. Would buy them again The rod is a useful compromise between feedback and casting distance. I fish them with an Aldebaran BFS XG and a First 8 line in 0.065mm. The rod does not like to throw force overhead, which it acknowledges with an overswing. If you throw sensitively, whether overhead, side or roll, with a 4gr. Bait (jig spinner, ned rig) easily 30 m in. Even skipping with a 4gr. After about 9 attempts, I easily managed Ned-Rig at a distance of 20m. I also bought the heavier La Moustique 4-14gr. So when it comes to light casting weights, the 2-10gr is my favorite rod. Sure, Moustique Spinning continues, but anyone fishing baitcast as UL wants the baitcast's special flat casting techniques to get under obstacles (trees, footbridges) and still drill “heavy” fish.

La Moustique Casting 220 cm / 15-50 g
Good rod with weaknesses in the reel holder Overall, the LMAB La Moustique Casting makes a good impression. However, when combined with my Savage Gear SG10, I had a problem with the roll holder or the handle. The line guide of the roller sharpens the handle material. If I positioned the roll so that nothing was sliding anymore, it no longer sat correctly in the roll holder. In the end, I had to sand off some of the handle material myself so that the roller fits properly and the line guide could run freely. After the adjustment, everything now fits easily. Nevertheless, I find it a shame that such rework is necessary with a casting rod.

https://youtu.be/82YZO-zo_wI I particularly like the moderate action and the light weight. You can fish without fatigue all day long. The casting weight is very understated, a 28g chaterbait is easy to throw and guide. The film shows the first fish I was able to catch with the rod Greetings Matthias Buffen

La Moustique Casting 220 cm / 15-50 g
The rods in the La Moustique range are simply great. No matter in which form, whether ultra light, or mid-range, whether spinning or casting, the rods are unique. You get a lot of feedback and still have a stable device. Handle the rods with care, as the tips may break if not handled ideally. Fortunately, there are replacement tips. The only drawback is the lack of hook holders, which you have to retrofit yourself. All in all, very fine rods. I have now swapped 5 rods for the La Moustique versions. A clear purchase recommendation!

La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 4-14 g
It was my first baitcast rod for me. I think La Moustique is just the right choice for that. You can feel the bites perfectly and the rod is also great for the eye
La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
Precise rod You always read a lot of things that are not supposed to be good about the rod. I can only talk to him again! It is top quality at the price, the rings are all wrapped in one go and very well wrapped. The 2g can be thrown at the end of the game. It can answer a 9-pound rainbow trout. I am delighted with the rod.
La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
Fine tackle Very fine fishing tackle (2-10g variant). Combined with a 16-gauge Aldebaran. As a BC beginner, I easily throw 6g at 25 meters and can't get the grin off my face! The delicate handle is a bit too small for my big hands. I will adjust the grip to myself with some road bike handlebar tape.

Top rod for a great price, I bought it in a bundle with the Tsurinoya KF-50 Dark Wolf LH and I'm absolutely satisfied with the combo! During the first test fishing for perch, he immediately brought a 60s pike! Would say endurance test passed!
La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
The shipping was really fast. The rod throws well and feels good in the hand. Just great. The package arrived a bit battered although marked as “fragile.” Thankfully, everything was safe. Thank you so much for the free supplement.

La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 4-14 g
Very light and well-balanced rod with a nice, sensitive action. Baits can be thrown precisely and bites come through cleanly, ideal for perch and light pike. Workmanship looks high-quality — it's really fun to fish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
The shipment is as usual without any problems and fast. The rod (2-10g variant) is definitely worth the money. Even small baits can be thrown without problems and the rod has enough power to drill even larger fish.

The rod is very light and looks well made. Had it in use for 8 hours last week and successfully uncut it. Think this is very suitable as an introduction to “UL” baitcasting. (In combination with Dark Wolf Ultra)

Super baitcastrute?? Hi guys, I treated myself to the 2-10g baitcast version, an absolutely super lightweight ul baitcaster that is super fun and is not afraid of big fish. Really a great rod?????
La Moustique Casting 198 cm / 2-10 g
Top UL baitcastrute great value for money. Very good workmanship With a GH100 and a Shimano Braid 006 and 3g bait weight just over 25 m, the rod charges very well. Absolute recommendation.
