The Major Craft Ceana spinning rods from Japan have been optimised for fishing with soft lures, with casting weights and lengths that are rarely found in JDM tackle - making them a strong fit for European conditions. Fitted with FUJI-K Fazlite guides and a split EVA grip, the fast Fast Taper Ceana blanks have everything you need to fish effectively for perch and zander. Major Craft developed the Ceana range with a clear eye on the international market and the specific demands of bank and boat anglers targeting perch, zander, asp and pike. The specs therefore differ noticeably from what you would expect of a typical largemouth bass rod. Build quality and finish are exactly what you would expect from Major Craft.

• Major Craft Ceana CNS-702L/F: two-piece perch rod, 2.13 m long, Extra Fast Taper, casting weight 4-15 g.
• Major Craft Ceana CNS-802ML: two-piece perch rod, 2.44 m long, Fast Taper, casting weight 5-21 g. Thanks to the fast blank with a strong backbone, the rod handles both hard lures and soft plastics equally well. For jigging or rigging soft lures, we recommend weights of around 5-14 g combined with soft plastics of 3-4 inches. Plugs work best in the 8-16 g range.
