Major Craft Days Proto Custom Baitcasting Rod

Major Craft is one of the largest rod manufacturers in Asia, with a well-earned reputation for superb rods at fair prices.

A Versatile Two-Piece JDM Baitcasting Series

The two-piece Major Craft Days baitcasting rods are built around a broad, versatile application range. Fitted with proven, high-quality FUJI components - including the VSS reel seat and FUJI K-Series frame guides with SIC-S inserts - they are built on a Toray High Modular 4-Direction Carbon blank with a regular to fast taper. The clean, slender black blank with its subtle lettering is the definition of understatement; development was focused entirely on uncompromising function. Despite the wide-ranging application brief, feedback from these rods is excellent, and they are exceptionally well balanced - featherlight in hand and a genuine pleasure to fish. The two-piece construction makes them easy to carry on public transport or in a small car, yet once assembled at the water they are indistinguishable from a one-piece rod. This is a thoroughly considered series from Major Craft, finished with a discreet look and a split grip in quality EVA that impresses from the moment you pick one up.
