High-Performance Baitcasting Rods with HVF Nanoplus Blanks

The Daiwa Prorex XR BC series is built on cutting-edge rod construction technology and fitted with reliable, well-chosen components throughout. These baitcasting rods feature extremely light and slim HVF Nanoplus blanks that are perfectly balanced, letting you cast all day without fatigue setting in. Whether you're an hour into the session or ten hours in, each cast feels as easy as the first. The action of each model is tailored to its intended use, delivering a high level of fishing pleasure.

HVF Nanoplus, X45 Blank Construction and More for Outstanding Performance

The HVF Nanoplus technology is responsible not only for the light weight and superb balance of the Daiwa Prorex XR BC rods, but also for their fast, crisp action. Exceptional sensitivity on the bite and at the bottom makes these rods particularly effective. The nanoparticles in the resin raise the carbon fibre content, contributing to outstanding performance and giving the blanks impressive load capacity. The X45 blank construction keeps the rod extremely torsion-resistant and delivers a very fast recovery speed, which translates into highly accurate casts and precise coverage of your spots. The V-Joint ferrule system ensures an even, consistent bend curve throughout the blank, while the exclusive Daiwa Air Sensor reel seat - made from composite material - provides outstanding ergonomics and feel.

The Individual Rods at a Glance

The Daiwa Prorex XR BC range comes in several variants, each with its own specific application. Here is a brief overview of each model.

XR BC 2.10 m / 14-42 g

A light, all-round baitcasting rod that works particularly well for pike and zander. You can work swimbaits, large plugs and soft plastics with ease. It features a hard EVA handle.

XR BC 2.40 m / 40-120 g

A powerful baitcasting rod designed for large lures, letting you fish a wide variety of big baits in pursuit of pike. A well-balanced action keeps casting comfortable even with these heavier lures and reduces hook pulls during the fight. It features a hard EVA handle.

Finesse 2.20 m / 5-14 g

This finesse baitcasting rod with a tubular tip pairs perfectly with light baitcasters. If you enjoy fishing small hard lures and soft plastics for perch and largemouth bass, this rod will put a smile on your face. It features an exclusive EVA carbon grip.

Jerk 1.95 m / 40-120 g

The dedicated jerk rod. It drives even large jerkbaits hard and keeps your strikes reliable. Outstanding lure control and excellent casting performance define this rod, which performs equally well from the bank or from a boat. It features a split hard EVA handle.

Vertical 1.90 m / 14-35 g

Built for vertical jigging for zander. The strong backbone ensures you can drive the hook home cleanly even at greater depths. It features a split hard EVA handle.
