A Classic in Two Pieces

The legendary Shad Rap in a two-piece jointed version. This classic imitates a small fish in extreme panic, fleeing in terror. The single-piece version already has a lively action, but the jointed variant takes it a step further. On top of the pronounced wobbling, you get the tail-wagging of the rear section. This Wounded Minnow Action triggers not only actively feeding predators but also passive, resting fish into taking. Because this plug runs with extreme fish-catching action even on a straight, steady retrieve, it is also particularly well suited to trolling. It targets primarily perch and zander, though trout, pike and chub are equally unable to resist it.

The Jointed Shad Rap is a suspending plug - on the pause, it holds its position in the water column rather than rising or sinking. Built-in rattles add an acoustic dimension to its already intense pressure waves, provoking predators with sound as well as vibration. Fitted with VMC® Black Nickel treble hooks, it grips every fish securely and sharply.
