To make that happen, it features a snap for attaching to your bag and a large split ring for securing your landing net or similar accessories. The two halves are held together by a strong magnet with a breaking strain of 3 kg - firm enough to carry your landing net securely, yet low enough that a single sharp tug releases it instantly so you can get the net into the water without delay.
