Savage Gear 3D Glide Roach

Fooling Pike with Realism

The Savage Gear 3D Glide Roach is a highly realistic roach imitation built from an actual 3D scan of a real roach. It comes fitted with the legendary Line Thru System made from Carbon49 Wire, meaning the wire trace is already included straight out of the box. Available in 2 sizes, both are perfectly suited for targeting pike: the 17 cm version works beautifully with standard pike tackle, while the 23 cm big bait option is there when you want to go large. Either way, you won't be waiting long for a take.

Best Worked with Sharp Twitches

To bring the Savage Gear 3D Glide Roach to life, work it with subtle rod strokes or sharp turns of the reel handle - both cause it to dart violently to the side before gliding back on track. Build in pauses between your twitches: the lure levels out horizontally before slowly sinking back down, which is almost irresistible for following pike. That appeal is only strengthened by the anise attractant built into the body. You can also use these lures for trolling, where they track through the water in smooth S-curves.
