Savage Gear's 3D Line-Thru Seeker is a sea trout spoon built around one core purpose: covering ground and finding fish, even in the most demanding conditions.

First Look at the 3D Line-Thru Seeker

The leaf-shaped body measures 90 mm in length and 15 mm in width, weighing in at 24 g - compact dimensions that tell you straight away this is a lure designed for searching out sea trout efficiently. But the shape and size are only part of the story.

What Makes It Cast So Well

The weight is positioned asymmetrically, just forward of the treble hook. This shifts the centre of gravity to one end, so the lure cuts through the air like an arrow with minimal drag - delivering significantly greater casting distances and greatly reducing the risk of line tangles on the cast. The centre of gravity sits alongside the internal line channel, which means the lure rides almost horizontally in the water, always presenting one of its two flanks to the sea trout's sharp eye while fluttering enticingly.

3D Scan and Realistic Photoprint

Every lure carrying the Real 3D Scan badge features an exceptionally realistic finish. Savage Gear developed a proprietary process in which natural reference specimens were scanned, capturing contours and markings that closely mirror those of a sandeel or a rock gunnel. These surface structures, along with colour variants developed and tested alongside the company's team anglers, are applied to the body using a photoprint process and then sealed with a durable protective finish.

The Line-Thru Advantage During the Fight

Predators have a habit of trying to throw a lure during the fight - hard headshakes and sudden runs create sharp acceleration forces. With hard lures and heavy soft plastics mounted directly to the hook, the weight of the lure generates significant leverage during those moments, giving the fish a real chance to shake free. The line-thru design addresses exactly this: because the line passes through the body of the lure, the lure can slide up the line when a fish runs, removing that lever arm and keeping the hook in contact with the fish.
