Westin D360° V2

The Westin D360° V2 - An Updated Take on a Proven Spoon

The Westin D360° V2 is the updated version of Westin's popular Mefo spoon, and it brings several meaningful improvements to the original design. A slimmer profile with a smoother surface, combined with a rearward-shifted centre of gravity, gives it significantly better casting properties - less air resistance, improved flight balance, and exceptional distance even into a headwind.

Unpredictable Action That Sea Trout Can't Ignore

The Westin D360° V2 is built lead-free from zinc, which gives it more inherent weight, yet it's been designed cleverly enough to still run shallow despite those casting distances. On a steady retrieve, it produces an erratic side-to-side action that is already highly effective on its own. Introduce pauses, though, and this running spoon rotates around its own axis on the drop - and that is precisely the moment when wary, awkward sea trout commit. The low-friction, free-running design also brings a practical advantage: because the lure cannot act as a lever, you end up landing more fish with a noticeably lower dropout rate.

Ready to Fish Straight from the Box

The Westin D360° V2 is threaded onto the leader and carries no fixed hooks. To make sure you have everything you need from the start, it comes supplied with a single hook, 3 beads (red, yellow, and clear) and a split ring. Pair it with a suitable sea trout rod, a fixed spool reel, and line, and you're ready to go. Available in various sizes and colours.

How to Fish It

Work the D360° V2 on a steady retrieve for that consistent side-to-side action, then build in pauses to let it rotate on the drop. That falling, spinning movement is when hesitant sea trout are most likely to strike.
