Savage Gear 4Play Classic Liplure

A Shallow-Running Classic with a Diving Lip

The Savage Gear 4Play Classic Liplure is part of the legendary 4Play series, which has accounted for countless great catches over the years. This version is the four-section swimbait with a small diving lip, available in 13 cm and 19 cm. Both sizes run notably shallow - the 13 cm version works at 0.3-0.9 m, the 19 cm at 0.5-1.2 m - making them an excellent choice for covering shallow water and near-surface areas when targeting pike.

A Herring Profile That Works Anywhere

The body of the Savage Gear 4Play Classic Liplure is modelled on a herring. That said, it is by no means limited to waters where herring are present - the profile closely resembles a wide range of baitfish, so it produces results in virtually any venue. Thanks to its four-section body, it has a highly realistic, enticing action as it snakes through the water. Working it is straightforward: a steady, even retrieve is all it takes to get the best out of it. If pike want a pause in the presentation, you can switch to a stop-and-go approach just as easily. Either way, it is a swimbait that has earned its place among the classics in the Savage Gear range - and for good reason.
