Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Monster Casting

Baitcasting Rods for Pike Fishing with Large Lures

The Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Monster Casting is a rod series developed specifically for pike fishing with large lures. The blank is built from high-modulus 24T/30T carbon with additional reinforcement, giving it a powerful, progressive character that handles everything from large soft lures to the biggest swimbaits. The Moderate Fast Action delivers excellent lure control and precise presentation, while the strong backbone lets you drive the hook home with a hard strike - even into the toughest pike jaw.

Solid Performance Through Quality Components

The Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Monster Casting is fitted with Seaguide CCS Stainless Steel rings with SiN inserts, which work equally well with braid and all other line types. The handle is a full grip in Duragrip 70 material for a secure, comfortable hold, and the Double Lock reel seat keeps your baitcaster firmly in place. Together, these components give the Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Monster Casting the build quality to match its performance in heavy pike fishing.
