The Savage Gear Fazor is a fixed spool reel built around the combination of smooth action and long-term durability. Innovative engineering and 7+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings deliver a silky-smooth retrieve, while premium materials ensure the reel can take everything you throw at it - in both fresh and salt water. Multiple sizes are available, from the 1000 for trout fishing right up to the 5000 for pike fishing, with several sizes also offered in higher gear ratios, so there's a model to suit every style of lure fishing.

Light yet Built to Last

The Savage Gear Fazor features a patented, CNC-milled PCG (Precision Cut Gearing) drivetrain that delivers maximum smoothness without sacrificing durability. The titanium main shaft adds structural strength while keeping overall weight to a minimum. Both the body and rotor are moulded from a carbon-reinforced composite (CRC), further reducing weight without any compromise in rigidity. Together, these components mean you can fish the Fazor for long sessions without fatigue, yet trust it to stay reliable over the long term.

Finely Adjustable Drag and a Spool Designed to Reduce Wind Knots

The drag system is a waterproof, ultra-smooth FCS (Friction Control System) carbon drag with patented carbon washers running under the Hydroseal drag seal. It is exceptionally fine to adjust, giving you the control needed to play even hard-fighting predators with confidence. The Tapered Spool Lip Design promotes long casts and significantly reduces the risk of wind knots, which in turn extends the life of your braid considerably.

Different Knob Styles Across the Size Range

The SST handle is a one-piece unit that screws into the reel body for a solid, play-free connection. The handle knob varies by size to ensure optimum control at every end of the range: the smaller 1000 and 2000 sizes come with a rubberised paddle knob, the mid-range 2500 to 4000 sizes carry a rubberised T-knob, and the 5000 gets a unique rubberised metal power knob for a particularly secure grip when handling bigger fish.
