Savage Gear Revenge SG8 Fast Shad

A Rod Built for River Jigging

The Savage Gear Revenge SG8 Fast Shad is part of the SG8 rod series and is specifically designed for jigging zander on rivers. Both models measure 2.70 m, a length that lets you guide lures safely over rocky structures and similar obstacles. Soft plastics and vibration baits are the ideal companions for this rod, drawing hungry zander into striking. Its high sensitivity combined with an extra-fast action gives you full lure control at all times, along with enough power to drive the hook home into the hard mouth of a zander.

Japanese Carbon and Danish Engineering Combined

The Savage Gear Revenge SG8 Fast Shad brings together Japanese carbon and Danish engineering in a single rod. Savage Gear chose premium 46T Toray Carbon from Japan as the foundation for this series, refined further with the innovative 4X V2 Carbon Technology. The result is an ultralight blank with maximum responsiveness and a strong backbone that handles any casting distance without effort. The Reset Accelerator Technology delivers lightning-fast recovery, translating to quick deployment, precise casts and complete control over every movement. Visible wraps give the blank its distinctive carbon look and are a testament to the build quality that Savage Gear puts into every rod.

Elegant Design and First-Class Components

The Savage Gear Revenge SG8 Fast Shad pairs style with function through its unique Synergrip full-carbon grip design. This design delivers outstanding sensitivity, transmitting even the smallest vibrations directly into your hand. The Fuji reel seat keeps your fixed spool reel firmly locked in place, while the Fuji K SiC guides work seamlessly with the advanced blank to produce a smooth, silky line flow. The rod's elegant appearance - classic black with subtle silver accents - makes it stand out at the water. For transport and storage, the Savage Gear Revenge SG8 Fast Shad is supplied with a quality neoprene rod sleeve.
