Savage Gear set out with the Seeker ISP to take some of the grind out of sea trout fishing - a species famously known as the fish of 1,000 casts. These highly effective sea trout spoons combine outstanding quality, first-rate construction and a distinctive design.

The Concept of the Seeker ISP

Catching sea trout means covering water. The Seeker was built precisely for that style of fishing - not for nothing is sea trout known as the fish of 1,000 casts. With this sea trout spoon you can search large areas of water quickly, such as the coastal shallows of the North Sea, the Baltic Sea or similar open shores.

The Facts Behind the Seeker 98 ISP

The specifications speak for themselves. At 9.80 cm in length and 23 g, this is an out-and-out long-distance lure. Even in tough conditions and a strong wind you can cast it a long way with real accuracy. Every lure comes fitted with the proven Savage Gear Y-treble hook and a wide-gape single hook as standard.

Lively, Unpredictable Action

The slim, leaf-shaped body lets you present the lure with plenty of life. Its almost unpredictable swim is driven in part by a 360-degree rotation that kicks in even during very brief pauses, producing unique light flashes beneath the surface.

The ISP System

What sets the Seeker range apart is the Intense Strike Point System. Three strategically positioned holes, each approximately 1 mm in diameter, are drilled into the body just ahead of the hook. Depending on the colour pattern, these are filled with either glow-in-the-dark or UV-reactive luminescent epoxy paste. To the human eye they are fairly subtle, but for the sea trout - a predator that hunts by sight - they act as clearly defined strike points.
