The Right Stradic Spinning Rod for Every Application
The Shimano Stradic (EVA) Spinning series covers a wide range of spinning rods for lure fishing. The Fast Action models feature an EVA split grip, which visually sets them apart from the Moderate Fast Action variants. Whatever you're targeting, there's a Stradic spinning rod to suit. When a fast action rod is what you need, these cover every base. They pair particularly well with Stradic fixed spool reels - the Shimano Stradic FM being a prime example - resulting in exceptionally well-balanced combos that feel as good in the hand as they look.
Precise, Responsive Blanks
The Shimano Stradic (EVA) Spinning rods are built around a lightweight, high-quality High Modulus XS R Multi-Directional Carbon blank, with Diaflash Technology applied to the lower section. This reduces blank twist and delivers highly efficient power transfer on the cast and during the fight. Sensitivity is a real strength here: you get outstanding feedback, picking up even the subtlest pluck as well as bottom contact instantly. That translates into extremely precise lure presentation, and the responsive blank means you can strike without delay the moment a fish takes. The combination of precision and fight performance makes these rods a reliable tool for predator fishing in both fresh and salt water.
Fuji Rings and Fuji Reel Seat
The clean, modern look of the Shimano Stradic (EVA) Spinning rods comes from the well-judged combination of Shimano blank and Fuji components throughout - both rings and reel seat. Depending on the model, Fuji Alconite K-, KW- or KR-type rings are fitted, contributing to balanced rod balance and excellent casting distances. The grip is a split grip design; on the Fast Action models it is wrapped in EVA and fitted with a Fuji reel seat matched to the casting weight and power rating. Everything works together as a coherent whole, both visually and in terms of performance.
