Small Glidebaits with Big Impact
The Westin Swim Glidebait 8 cm comes in 2 types: sinking and suspending. Both measure 8 cm in length, though the sinking version weighs in at 19 g compared to the 16 g of the suspending model. What unites them is exceptional casting performance - you can launch these lures enormous distances. That makes them a strong choice where large asp are hunting near the surface, but perch, pike and zander are equally drawn to this compact bait. Small in size, but highly effective.
Versatile Retrieves, Consistent Results
The Westin Swim Glidebait 8 cm lends itself to a wide range of retrieve styles. You can work it on a steady wind-in, use sharp pulls on the reel, or go with twitching - both slow and fast retrieves produce fish. A slow retrieve mimics a dying baitfish convincingly, while a quick, sharp action suggests a small fish fleeing a hungry predator in a panic. Build in pauses and you increase the lure's effectiveness further still - bites from perch, zander and pike often come exactly at that moment.
Quality Build to Match the Larger Models
The Westin Swim Glidebait 8 cm carries the same build quality as its larger counterparts. The body is constructed from ABS plastic with a strong through-wire running its full length, delivering outstanding durability even under pressure from hard-fighting predators. A pair of ultra-sharp carbon steel treble hooks keep a firm hold until the fish is safely in the landing net.

Swim Glidebait 8 cm Suspending | 16 g / 3D Headlight
I only ever fished Westin swimbaits in 12 cm and larger - then I tried smaller sizes in 8 cm and they were immediately convincing. The little ones worked very well for me in summer and in difficult conditions on pike and on perch all year round. Very varied to run!
