Treble Hooks with a Special Coating for Catch & Release

The VMC Kaptain 3x Strong Barbless is a barbless treble hook available in multiple sizes, tested on hard-fighting predators including snakeheads. Without barbs, you can remove the hook gently and quickly - but a clever design feature keeps the fish from shaking free. The Technical Locking Curve introduces a slight inward bend at the transition from the shank to the point, so the point faces inward and holds the fish securely in the bend. On top of that, each hook carries VMC's exclusive Coastal PTFE coating, which gives the surface an exceptionally smooth finish and allows the hook to penetrate up to 50% faster. If you care about the condition of the fish you return, the VMC Kaptain 3x Strong Barbless is a straightforward upgrade - swap out the treble hooks on your hard lures and spoons for these fish-friendly alternatives.
