A Jerk Classic for Pike
The Buster Jerk by Strike Pro is one of the most versatile and productive jerkbaits around. Its side-to-side action is immediately enticing, with the rolling flank drawing predators in on every retrieve. You can crank it, twitch it, pull it or jerk it - and a well-timed pause in the retrieve is all it takes to trigger an aggressive response. This hard lure catches throughout the entire season, firing up its action from the very first movement and covering a running depth of 0.5 m to 4.0 m.
At 15 cm, this is already a serious mouthful - exactly what you need to get the attention of big pike. Yet at 75 g, it remains light enough that you don't need heavy tackle to fish it effectively. Work it fast and you can keep it as shallow as 50 cm; slow it right down with extended pauses and it drops all the way to 4 m, bringing it within reach of predators holding tight to the bottom. The sinking version goes down quickly, which gives you that broader depth range and makes it highly adaptable across a wide variety of situations.
