This Goby Imitation Draws in Perch and Zander One After Another
The Westin Gunnar the Goby R2F is a highly realistic goby imitation available in a range of sizes and colour combinations. With photo-print detailing and hand-painted accents, this soft plastic looks strikingly lifelike - making it a strong choice when you're targeting perch and zander, given that gobies are a key food source for both in many waters.
Ready to Fish Straight Out of the Pack
The pre-rigged version of the Westin Gunnar the Goby R2F is ready to go immediately - just clip it to your snap and you're fishing. The ultra-sharp hook sits in a lead-free stand-up rig and is neatly concealed behind the dorsal fin, giving you an effective weedless presentation. The lure replicates the natural swimming movement of a real goby, gliding effortlessly between rocks and always landing on its flexible pectoral fins - a 'hook up' position that puts you in the best shape to connect with a hungry predator. Rounding things off are a pronounced wobbling action and a high-frequency paddle tail that keeps working even at the slowest retrieve speeds.
How to Fish It
The Westin Gunnar the Goby R2F is ideally suited to slow jigging with sharp, bottom-hugging pulses, keeping the presentation tight to the bottom throughout.
